It was a privilege to host Amanda Fox from “Dressability” as a speaker on a recent Topical Thursday online Stroke support group. Amanda’s presentation “How to build confidence and retain your style post-“Stroke” was a very enjoyable change from our usual health related topics. It was informative and fun.
With Amanda’s styling ideas and her understanding and sensitivity to the issues of those of us from the disability community who experience anxiety and reluctance to experiment with clothes, “Dressability” can bring joy and fun into styling. Gone are the days of wearing “the Nana Clothes”.
Amanda is an experienced Inclusive Fashion Stylist who works with many clients catering to all abilities. She has worked with the Stroke community and it was interesting to hear how dressing and styling not only can make you look great on the outside but can be of benefit to feeling empowered both inside and out.
I have found Amanda to be engaging, polite and sensitive to the needs of the individual. She is very helpful, understanding and encouraging. She provides a fun personal experience to those she assists to regain their confidence through discovering the joy of again looking their personal best”

Amanda took us on a fabulous Vintage fashion Tour which was everything we could have hoped for. She was extremely helpful and we walked away with some great dresses, tops, shoes and even a brand new handbag and some jewelry. And all that for 1/3 of the price you would have paid for in the shop. Highly recommended!

Dressability has made it a much more enjoyable experience, Amanda takes her time and is very aware of my needs and has even got me wearing clothes and colours I would never have thought about before!
